The only quiver I want to ride is my own...but I want to ride it free of the pain I still have in my shoulder...after surgery and rehab.
I originally injured it 6 years ago (dislocation) and ignored it until January, when I could barely move my right arm. Was finally able to do the surgery in May followed by 4 weeks of immobilization...
It's been a loooong 9 months, but I've finally gotten an ok from my doctor to get back in the water after shoulder surgery (6 screws and countless internal stitches) to repair my rotator cuff and...
It's even better when you're in the water with them. That is, until you get cut-off by one of em.
Hide it in the garage or tell her you can't sell it for what it's worth. I've done that a few times; works every time
AMEN LbCrew. Summertime at its finest. In about 6 weeks time things will settle down. Until then we have to deal.
Pumpmaster said it right...hang that sucker from your ceiling. I used to do that with mine when I was a kid. You just need some eye hooks and bungees.
Would be glad to help you out bro...but I'm in Central Jersey. I would suggest buying a used board then selling it back to the shop. Best of luck.
Got my first longboard for exactly the same reason around 12 years ago. I would recommend a single fin setup with a double concave bottom and beveled rails for the length of the board. 9'6" works...
Got a 15-20 minute commute; The number of times I get out each week depends on the season, conditions and work schedule. Usually once or twice a week but haven't been out for about 3 months and...
No wetsuit necessary. You'll be naked becasue your stoned and it's nighttime. BTW - Nice Gruvi reference.
The old Poverty Beach in Cape May with a long period groundswell in late fall/early winter and NW winds. The place was absolutely insane.
When you're about half way healed you can fish.
Dislocated my collarbone a few years back and was out of the water for about 4 or 5 weeks till it healed properly. I took photos and got myself into ridiculous shape by doing cardio and "modified"...
I actually prefer to surf alone because there is no one to get in your way and you can take any wave you want. I'm finding that the older I get the more I do not want to share with others, even my...
Yoga, pilates, and a bike. That is all you need. Do at least one them every other day for about 30-40 minutes. And kick the cancer sticks bro.
Ridiculousness...but I'd say Kelly will be fired up about it and make it point to win. Not that anyone else has a chance anyhow (IMO).
Corky Carroll...the guy is bonkers.
I've seen it dip down to 32 a couple times...but it's usually shortlived.
I'm all for wearing less rubber...but the air temp and wind will go right through you this time of year.
Anyone out there know who the guy was taking photos in Deal today? Wanted to check with him buy he left before I got out of the water.
Also found a surfboard wall clock at Target.
I picked up a used area rug shaped like a longboard for my daighters room rather cheaply from a surf shop. Once I shampooed it, the thing was like brank new. Looks really fat too.
CAMDEN!!! The place is a hole. Better wear a bullet proof vest, expect to get mugged, and lose your board. Make sure you're out of town by sundown too.
Fat chicks need loving too.
What happened to Gruvi? He should do the paddle...it would be great practice!
