i use a 7' travel bag and both my boards are under 6'4" its just nice to have that extra space for the padding in the nose and tail.

I dont want my board bag to get weight on top or side or whatever, and have the wax create a pressure ding. i think i will just go for it... if they need to they can take it out and sniff it.

im going to Nicaragua and wax is expensive/hard to find down there.

Anyone ever have a problem with bringing wax in a carry on while flying internationally or should i just stick it in my board bag?

Get a big bottle of hot water and wrap it in a towel on the way to the beach, put your suit on with the FCS towel it helps a lot, and right before you get into the water or leave your car pour half...

well thought i would share this, they are saying that NYC will get 3 inches or 30 inches of snow.. also the swell from this looks all time for LI....

i have to say Day Glow wax is pretty bad

yeah i was looking into a PacSafe bag but i wasn't sure if the thief's down there where just grab and run, or if they would be able to cut through the mesh they have in there bags.. Im still deciding...

Also what else do i need to bring? any suggestions? Im thinking 2 boards? my one magic board and one that is already in ok shape so its not a big deal if it gets damaged. This is my first big trip...

there is no hole at all i filled it with water and squeezed the bootie and there where no leaks.. i dont get it hah but whatever i think im gonna just wrap it in duck tape with a plastic bag over it

thats what i was thinking! like what the Fu*k i think it may have hit hard and split it but its no good... just cleaned by bootie and there is for sure no hole in the bootie just a lot of red nasty...
