Bring on the brain freeze.
it's official. You're a d0uche!! You should just quit breathing all together.
Dunno where you were... bouy at NY harbor peaked at 11ft overnight and was 9ft at 9am from the ESE. I saw 8 ft sets in Deal, NJ in the morning. It was 3 - 5ft by the afternoon with the 30mph winds.
Early AM the wind was tolerable. By 9am it was howling 20mph. By noon ripping at 30+mph gusts. Spent a lot of time getting held up the face by the wind... didn't see a whole lot of people catching...
I've never needed boots in SD. If you like wearing boots bring them, but it's not necessary, just a convenience there. Usually visit my family there every winter. From Scripps Ranch the spot you'll...
Very cool!
Bingo!....
Hey look we actually agree on something...
Keep throwing your feces monkey...
Awful presumptuous to think that you are the dictator of what surfing "is all about". And you call me "entitled"... pot... kettle... black... yep. You're just...
Continue living in that glass house.
My town, my waves, blah blah... That's more of an entitlement attitude than sharing. And who said anything about current? Whatever...
Yes and when I do the work to position myself to take the next wave I would expect that the person who took the last one doesn't paddle right back next to me and paddle for the next one as well.
Well I can't speak for others, but I don't feel I am entitled to anything I don't work for. However, I do expect others to share if we are out there together. That's just common decency. So...
So, being considerate of others and sharing waves is in your opinion a communist precept? And by your logic, the SUPer or longboarder who can sit outside and catch every single wave that comes...
...so wait... are they common sense rules or communist laws?
We also evolved from monkeys, so should we go back to throwing our feces at each other... oh wait, some of us still do.
Bingo! After you get your wave, you go to the back of the line. You don't paddle right back to the peak looking to take the next wave or worse, get in the way of the next person in line. I'm...
#7, the wave hog, is the one I see most often. Someone who constantly tries to paddle inside of everyone and take priority rather than waiting their turn. That occasionally results in the deserved...
Three is waaaayyy out of the question for me. I was an only child of a single parent. I feel crowded with just a wife and dog in the house. In college a crowded house was fun... but that was...
Question from a non-parent... Is it worth it? I'm in the, do I or don't I want kids zone right now. Part of me really thinks it would be cool to have one, maayybe two, but I reeeeally like having...
Close, it's Billy Joel...
I would tend to agree and would I think that a permanent sand nourishment system that somehow re-creates the effects those smaller inlets would have had should be considered. Simply pumping sand on...
I'm 5'9" 170 and I'm a LS in Xcel. LS is 5'7" - 5'9" 170 - 175 so I guess they are pretty true to size.
Retreat is very feasible in many areas. How many of those beach front house do you think have people living in them year round. How many are second houses. Our states real population density is...
Sand pumping ruined surfing...
