Dunno where you were... bouy at NY harbor peaked at 11ft overnight and was 9ft at 9am from the ESE. I saw 8 ft sets in Deal, NJ in the morning. It was 3 - 5ft by the afternoon with the 30mph winds.

Early AM the wind was tolerable. By 9am it was howling 20mph. By noon ripping at 30+mph gusts. Spent a lot of time getting held up the face by the wind... didn't see a whole lot of people catching...
