lookin at the cams show it not as choppy as you might think, the wind has enough tilt in it that the lefts are opening up pretty good, possibly some good barrel time today.
I usually ride a BAT...
the cameras are ok, but the brackets and such are of such weak design they actually ship spares in the box.
someone in St Pete got one for xmas and the very first day out he broke the bracket for...
that is the first time Ive heard of beach "re nourishment" actually doing good things for the sandbars :)
just dont expect it to last, in Naples, when they did their first dredging, it actually did...

never made it myself, but my nephew, who lives in Naples, was catching waist+ waves all day, and a friend of mine, who lives in englewood, was catching chest high rights all day long.

I have several friends who used to spend their summers in NJ and every year at least 1 of them would get their car waxed. they went up 5 yrs straight, by the 3rd yr they had made...

Ive only had 1 "magic board" that lasted any length of time, not sure why it did, but it lasted me many years, where usually a "magic board" will last me less...

even though Ive only been in SA once during winter, it was, without a doubt, much colder than Im used to surfing central/south FL...
depends on where your traveling from, if your from the NE area, then you could probably get away without a suit at all :D

dont bother with white ave, Im an experienced surfer (25 yrs) and I got tons of attitude and negativity there. and I am also one of the most etiquette inclined persons in the water, I never drop in...
nope, nothing surfable really in cedar key. its basically a "shallows", which means shoals all over the place. sort of like an oceanic swamp.
just a little north of clrwtr is about the limit.

using a dryer will encourage dry rot faster. it may not damage the suit short term, but long term it will ruin it.
in the dryer on maximum heat :eek:
just kidding, drip dry out of the sun or buy one of those fan hangers for faster results.
or, if you have a hair dryer that has a cold setting, that will work...
