I was waiting for a post from you. I saw Lee at Malibu's post on FB, and was hoping you were on it. That's pretty much as good as it gets around here! Thanks for taking and sharing these!

We'd like to think the "don't be a douche" rule applies even without the boulder factor.
The optical illusion caused by the ground slope makes the boards in the middle look to be close to the same length. Hard to tell which is the gun in your quiver.

The timewarp made it long, before I had to go over the back to avoid the whole thing dumping over on the inside bar that was knee to waist deep!
This was my best wave of the day, I'm so lucky that...

Here's a pic from the "Bigger" Saturday, again at Frisco. That place can be fun when it's big.
If you become addicted like the rest of us, you might just find yourself living longer! Surfing is quite a workout!
Trying for the usual jump over the back of the wave doesn't work as well when you're at the bottom, the wave is bigger than...

Friday at Frisco Pier. Saturday was bigger.
Today, the winds backed off enough that the North side cleaned up. Great fun at the Lighthouse!
Jax Beaches closed!

Caught a few waves Saturday and Sunday on the Outer Banks! Saturday was Rodanthe, where we had a nice, powerful 3' swell jacking onto a waist deep sandbar. Sunday was a little smaller at the...

We all want pics! I think I was fondling one of the boards he was using for a template.

When did he bring it up? I was in the shop over Labor Day weekend, and saw a nice looking MR twin in the back room.

This used to be one of my "goto" HO cures. Even if only a quick dip in the ocean/bay. I think it has something to do with the cool water temps, and getting the blood flowing.
That's my buddy's car. I can't believe those three boards made it from South Jersey to OBX and back using soft racks! The little boards were inside, under the hatchback.
Every time I see that pic, it makes me laugh. I thought I'd give the rest of SI the opportunity to laugh at me!
I know, but it was the 80s. Plus it was August at Cape Point campground in Cape Hatteras, no escape from the heat.
CJSurf, I have a board with almost the same shape down to the double winger baby swallow tail, maybe a little less nose. I left it out of my quiver shot cuz I gave it to my son. Here's a shot of it...
It is PVC pipe with a slot cut into it.
...and you forgot, I'm NOT cool!
7'6" Surfers Alliance Gun
6'9" Country Surfboards Twinzer
162cm Burton Royale
Various center fins for the LB
10'0" Country Surfboards Hawaiian Style LB
7'6" Ashton Mini-log
blah blah blah... ...yawn...
I could care less if you, or anybody here thinks I'm cool, or queer.
In MD, they are cool looking plates (IMO). I'd much rather sport a inside-out tube view than a farm, a heron, or the war of 1812.
These were my choices:
I support them. No nonprofit is perfect. They do good and are focused on something I care about, protecting and preserving our ocean, beaches & waves.
Plus I got this b!tchin' license plate!...
