down here in mel beach, i broke out the 3/2 maybe 5 times last winter and surfed almost everyday....bring the 5mm if you need to lose a lot of weight lol

buy a longboard (9ft+)!! it will pay off, those knee to waist waves will become pretty fun...
a 6'1 with thin rails is not made for those waves, its meant for real waves, which we don't get too...

north of the cape, from smyrna to jacksonville, gets the best of the se/ese trade swells

i hope you see the friday, july 10 midmorning pictures from surf-station.com, a st. augustine surf report. definitely was the best up there today.

i actually surfed today.....approaching waist high, super fun on the longboard

the closest thing i've found has been a 4ft half pipe....
