sometimes they pop up on ebay but not too often. i got mine on silverfishlongboarding.com. they have a really good classified section, i made a wanted ad saying that i wanted one and someone replied within a couple hours and a week later it was sitting at my doorstep. you may not even need the wanted ad, if you search their classifieds there may be something up for sale already.

i paid $60 shipped for mine without wheels which was a sick deal, and i got some wheels on ebay for $20. i would check that site out first though before you buy one new for full price

everybody has their own taste i suppose.. i gave my carver away. i ride my flexdex everyday. 29" slater model. not too heavy at all. . It is heavier than a carver though but i want that.not doing airs on the thing just pumping and carving also have a 32"Kalani model for hills. i use soft wheels so its grippy when i pump and doesnt spin out on me. i can really put my hips into every turn. just my experience. and yeah sector nine only really good for people who like pushing and big hills. decent cruiser though. my flexdex is strictly to better my surfing and it does.

ive heard good things about flexdex too, i wouldnt mind giving one a go sometime. im definitely gonna pick up some softer wheels for my carver, my 92a are good when the concretes nice and smooth but i do slide out every once in a while on hard carves. im thinking about picking up some 78a to throw on it for a better all around wheel and use the 98a for concrete parks or parking garages and stuff.

You will love them. im rolling with 78a right now and abec 9 bearings.i skate mostly parking lots with gradual hills.its strictly surf exercise. The one thing i miss about my carver though is how much wider it was.

yeah man im definnitely gonna pick up some 78a wheels when i get a chance. you should look around for some banks, thats what i skate the most its so similar to surfing a wave its crazy. you can just pump for speed, lay down some hard hacks or cutbacks or whatever. definitely the most fun ive had on a skateboard, it keeps me sane when its flat or i cant get to the beach
