i just bought the kodak playsport because of this stupid forum
im taking it to pr next week
have any expeirence of filming POV with this camera
or advice on keeping it safe in the water ( no put in pocket feed back please )
i was thinking when im ready to catch a wave i will put it in my hand while i paddle --- then when i get " the push" ill drop it - use my hands to pop up -- then grab it off the wrist leash , and wahla im recording a wave in first person..
does this sound better , then the reality of doing it ???

I bought my gopro in July....with the intention of using it on my motorcycle, quads dirtbike and surfing........i've used it on all of those, and I'm not too thrilled about it anymore.
On my motorcycle, even doing 80, it still looks like im going slow, same with the offroad bikes.....and in the water, I would use it more getting my buddies in barrel shots than on my board......
I would rather shell out the big dollars for the water housings for my other cameras and be able to see what I'm shooting (the go pro sells an extension that has a screen, bigger battery and larger housings for about $200 I think).
I'm thinking of selling it....
