iv been keeping a "grave yard" of all my old boards and its becoming boarder-line hoarding. Short of cutting them up and sticking them in a dumpster, anybody know a way to get rid of them? Most of them have clark foam and that stuff is awful for the environment, id love to recycle them if possible. Thanks.

If you have bigger boards, and want to start a hobby when its flat... Start removing the glass on your bigger fun shapes or long boards... Then refine the foam... Shape it down into a fish or a shortboard, then either glass it yourself, or take it to a local shaper and have them glass and re-fin it...
Or you can paint them, saw them in half etc and make some kick as$ beach chairs for your patio/yard... I see people in my neighborhood do it all the time... Like longboard longchairs... Its nice if you doctor them up with paint of something, cause it looks ghetto when people do it with these dings up, deep yellow busted old boards...
But i have somewhat of a graveyard too, and i plan to try and reshape the foam when i have time...
I personally love clark foam. My shaper stocked up on it before the shortage when they closed, but you cant find it anywhere anymore... I am cherishing my clark boards. I keep them in very nice conditions cause i know they cannot be replaced.
Refurnish them into pieces of furniture? side tables, coffee tables.
Or, be the charitable type and start a campaign to give less fortunate kids surfboards. Just food for thought...

yeah, im not the martha stewart type, and most vb groms are riding firewires and their mommies drive range rovers. That would be an easy answer if i lived in indo or something. Could i cut it up and put in a city recycling bin?

I doubt it. I would save them for a rainy day. You never know, you might want to learn to shape and remember how you threw all those blanks away.
At least, rip the glass off, paint the foam and reglass them. You'll have a nice looking board for whatever you can get the supplies for.
Or in the summer, grab a boogie boarder and tell him you'll give him the board if he promises to start surfing and never boogieboard again.
if you really don't want em i'll take em and re-shape them, i'm always looking for cheap old boards to recycle.. i'd even pay you a little bit to take em off your hands
