    Question 25 second period?

Check out buoy 41001, the buoy offshore of hatteras.

    Just popped a 3ft, 25 second reading...

potentially it could be southern hemi, but i'm thinking more on the side of just an error... 3ft, 25secs is not normal around these parts.

    keep an eye on it.

    Keep us posted

Sounds like a real anomaly, but keep your eyes on it and let us know if it happens again. I'll head for the mountains.

Thanks for all you do for us!

haha. no need to head to the mountains. tsunamis are more on the scale of 50 sec periods, i believe... the buoy was showing 25 seconds only at 7am this morning. So, maybe there was a freak set or two that hit this afternoon...prob not tho.
