That crams two fairly specific forecast locations into a very short stretch of coastline... like 10 miles. Is there a difference? Sure. But there's a difference in a lot of places. I say leave it alone.
One area works substantially better than the other on certain conditions, and vice-versa. This is knowledge gleaned over many years of experience and trial/error. A big part of me wants to keep this knowledge exclusive to those who have put in the time and effort to figure it out. So I would lean toward the "leave it alone" camp on this.
I think that rather than adding more named breaks, the direction should be able to be tweaked like the SE/SSE in OCNJ. This way, it doesn't "give it all away", but at the same time, does provide all the information. Or allow "custom forecasts" for any point on the map based on global position coordinates. Like magicseaweed said they plan to implement, but show no signs of doing.... Can't go wrong with more customability. That's a word right?
