better check to job market man. Not many jobs in Florida, especially CB. No matter what though, make sure you visit Taco City. Awesome grub. Oh yeah, watch out for all the sharks!

Yea, taco city is awesome. We went to Cocoa Beach/Melbourne beach last March and there was surf somewhere in the area every day for like 5 days straight. I don't know if that is typical, but it was nice for us.

Also, don't paddle out at Canova Park at high tide, until you've seen it at low tide and know what is under that water.

Cocoa is like most other East Coast beaches, consistently inconsistent. That being said, it does get better waves than a lot of South East beaches. If Cocoa is not working, Cape Canaveral gives you an option to the North and Sebastian further to the South. Melbourne has always been a fun wave as well. Cocoa would make a good home base to access these other spots. As always, just show respect as you get to know the breaks and the people.
