it really is. i know a bunch of kids that are straight edge. most are straight edge so they can fit into a group, want to get x tattoos, or are just too young to have any real experience in life. Unless everyone in your family was a alcoholic or drug addict ect ect ect sporting your straightedgeness is pretty lame. it's something to be, not to flaunt.
That video was great "wow, this is an interesting resume, says here you smoke weed every day"
I'm exactly what straightedge is about. I go to parties and staunchly refuse drugs and alcohol. I go to shows with straightedge bands and rock out in hardxxxcore mawsh pits. I wear cool shirts that say stuff like STRAIGHT XXX EDGE. I beat people up who have sex and do drugs. I said nope to dope and yes to hugs, not drugs
STOP KILLING YOURSELVES BROOOOOOOZ
BAHAHAHHAHAHAH! That is all folks...![]()
I been on both sides of it, now drug/alcohol free for many years. Honestly, with weed its the little psych addiction that kills ya. It becomes too important and sucks energy from other areas of life that deserve more attention. The "drug" (gotta be kidding) itself is totally harmless and quite pleasant. Just like anything else in life, ya gotta make sure it doesn't throw your life out of balance, especially if you tend to go extreme into stuff. Other problem is nowadays so many employers do random testing, so you gotta weigh that into the equation as well. Pisses me off to no end that weed classifies you as a druggie, yet alcohol, which is so much more destructive, is perfiectly acceptable - even socially mandatory. That's just so messed up. So there ya go. Good news is they still can't fire you or throw you in jail for surfing (thank God!). Oh, man surfing in bong juice??? that's just gross. Wait, yeah the gulf is actually pretty near that bad anyways.
I agree totally. So one of the best proven points between weed and alcohol (and other drugs for that matter)...
Alcohol (and other drugs) have killed how many people and caused serious problems including being very harmful? A: Way too many.
Weed has killed how many people and is how harmful? A: None.
