My problem with it is where the money goes... to some real D Bags. Now I know not every nug comes from Mexico and not every nug purchased results in the death of some innocent person but look at the drug violence stats south of our US border in these towns where they smuggle... its like 2 and 3 people shot daily in some of them. What about our US law enforcement people who loose their lives fighting the war on drugs (regardless of how dumb it is). You might not buy the nug that does it but you buy pot thus creating a market where these enterprising drug producing and selling individuals feel that they can make money and need to kill people to stay in power. Forget about the Mexicans... what about gangs in our own country...all those half wit high school dropouts with an illegally procured firearms...same thing you create the market and thus contribute to drug related violence. Again that is MY problem with it. I realize that most of these are "goodtimes" posts hate to ruin it...probably too late there. I guess decriminalization and govt. control would solve my beef with the issue.

And what about all these places to get it legal? I don't think we see any war there, besides from the US Fed. Govt because they are still too dumb. But we don't need to go there..

What if it is legalized... do we need Mexico anymore? I think not, bye bye to that problem.

    Cool

Legalize pot and tax it Dam it!!! I ain't no pot smoker anymore but support the legalization . Let people have their freedom and let them choose if they want...It doesn't affect me in any way at all if they choose to blow a bone. Alcohol is much more dangerous. Drunk drivers have killed more lives in one year nationwide than pot in a decade. Support cannabis I do miss smoking those nuggets but afraid of the damage to my lungs breathing the air is bad enough for me.

turning 39 next month, and never have, and never will smoke weed. i don't think it's so detrimental on a scale especially when compared to alcohol. i support legalization, and i think legalizing, and taxing it would be a positive thing, and maybe help generate the economy to an extent.

That's why they invented vaporizers!! Just about damn near healthy to use, cuts out 90% of the carcinogens and all it is, is vapor.

yeah i smoke once in a blue moon, but rarely buy it. i usually just get some freebie hits from my good buddies. **** makes me go to sleep most of the time anyways . i think cali is gettin the hang of it. decriminalize it is a great start, then locally make it legal. the small steps allow for testing and may show results with any changes in money/criminal activity/and deaths/accidents. i dont really care too much on this subject so either side is fine

never had any interest or urge in trying it. i just don't think about it much anymore. haven't even drank a beer since i was 14. i think something that turned me off of it other than how it affected peers of mine was my dads use. he smoked weed from the time he was about 14 until he was 55 which was a year before he died. he smoked up almost every day during that time as well other than a few days of not doing it here, and there. we didn't have the best relationship, and his excessive pot smoking, and alcohol consumption made me detest everything. looking back on it i have probably saved a lot of money from it. by no means does smoking weed make everyone like the person my dad was. i don't take any personal stands against it. i guess i do for myself, but not for others. i am the kinda guy that i could care less if someone lit up a bowl in front of me. as long as it wasn't in my house or my car i could care less. there are a lot of things i would like to experience in my life that i haven't yet, but smoking weed aint one of them. i mean this with the utmost respect, and no hostility.

What is your vote at the ballot on the legalization ? Would you vote yes or no to legalize? We will respect your vote either way. After all we are dealing with a bunch of surfer/stoners here. I believe if the Government took a vote it would be legal in all states.
