THC stays in the system for up to 90 days. This makes it very difficult (impossible) to prove it was smoked within a certain period of only a few hours or even days. You really have to get poped for possession to have any legal issues regarding marijuana.
As far as vehicular deaths by negligence go... i wont make up statistics, but i promise you that text messaging has killed more people than marijuana.
This kind of stuff is exactly what keeps me from supporting legalization. Smokers want it legal but don't want any responsibility attached to it.
Kill someone while stoned..no big deal
Won't get a job due to drug testing..live off public assistance
and in answer the the prescription drugs..yes they were described. I asked an attorney friend of mine about this and he said that it doesn't matter, if it can be proven that the drugs were a factor in the fatality, the user is criminally negligent
Could you cite the specific case? I do not agree with the protection afforded to individuals on perscibed drugs, but my experiences have shown that the liability is signifigantly decreased. Run someone over Drunk you commited murder, Hit somone on prescribed drugs your negligent.

Good luck convicting someone on "legal" perscribed drugs taken "as directed" ; my fathers office was basically destroyed by an older woman who was driving under the influence of multiple perscription narcotics. She was not criminally convicted of anything. If she would have been drunk the story would be completely different.

i work full time and pay a F*CK load of taxes, im definitely not the target of your message. You usually just have to be clean go GET a job. I dont care how much of a stoner you are or how straight edge you claim, no money no dinner in my book.
Killing someone is always a big deal. The push for legalization basically rests on the liberalization of america, of which I agree with 0.0002% of. If they legalized it, not much would change for me, id probably just have to pay taxes on it too.
thanks for proving my point.
Bottom line...Don't drive while impaired!! whether it is Xanax or weed or booze.
We are both in agreement.Bottom line...Don't drive while impaired!! whether it is Xanax or weed or booze.
