with respect to swell from Gabrielle..

Over the past week, when no swell had been produced for your area (new jersey), then forecasts are based off of model guidance. Since, models struggle with systems like Gabrielle, that is why you see changing forecasts for each forecast update.

Swellinfo updates its forecasts twice a day, and are based on the latest GFS model forecasted winds.

  3. yeah b/c everyone is saying like waist high sets should start to come into tonight and increase tomorrow like the kids in my school and local surfshops and duke is saying 4-6 sun 5-7 mon. its wierd seems no one can hit the nail on the head but atleast i can run down to the beach and no ones around PFS

I"m not sure where you live in New Jersey, but it looks like its going to be bigger in South Jersey.

For South Jersey, small to moderate SE swells should pick up through the day on Sunday, whereas Central Jersey spots may have to wait until late in the day to see anything on the rise.

Why do all of these idiots expect any surf report to be so ontime when the weather, especially coastal and marine weather is so unpredictable?

    QUIT CRYING POSERS!!!

  6. im not crying buddy and im not a poser im was just stating that alot of websites are giving different reports usually there all the same or similar not one saying knee and another saying head to overhead and others saying chest sorry if i upset ya bud

as in south jersey i usually surf near or around seaside

    Amen, Chong!

I've seen a whole lot of whining lately! Keep up the great work, Micah?. Your site has become one of my favorite report/forecasting sites and I check it quite often. The whining comes from the clueless ones..
