Exclamation Sealing Artwork on a Surfboard

I recently paint penned my Catch Surf: Beater and sprayed it with a clear matte spray paint. I sprayed it two times and though it would make my artwork permanent. However, my board was scratched by the fin of my other surfboard and took the ink right off. Does anyone know how can make this graphic stay on better. I don't want to lose it if my board washes up to shore and drags across the sand because i will definetly come off.

when doing art work i would suggest on surfboards to do it under the hot coat or before the gloss coat. if you do it over those two layers you can use a polyurothane spray...kinda like a spray paint... but it has worked on a few of my boards and stuck really well... but thats a beater kinda like a boggieboard bottom so im not sure if that would work but its worth a try
