Welcome man. Glad to have ya here.

Welcome man. Glad to have ya here.
Welcome, spread the stoke
Graphic tee's- not my cup of tea, but a piece of advice: less is more. My girlfriend and I have a hobby of pointing out d-bags who wear over-the-top graphic tee's. You don't want to be the butt of a joke, do ya?
Side note (but on the subject)- Does "salt life" actually make anything used for surfing? I see too many posers repping hard with foot long stickers on their crossover suv's and I say "none of these people surf"
ha ha. I'm dyslexic... the first time I saw it I thought it said slut life... cuz its all cursive.... I was like why would you put that on your truck?????
what Lee said... less is more. I would also add, dont try to be funny.
make sure that the garment itself (the shirt that is) is of good quality.
simple clean designs are best. i get a headache trying to look at an 'affliction' shirt.
best of luck to ya!
I think salt life tries to cater to the fishers more so than the surfers
lee - Thanks for the tips man. Yeah we have a few samples that are pretty simple but the full line will have some more interesting shirts, nothing crazy though! Haha they definitely won't be some dbag Ed Hardy shirts or anything. Thanks again man
Brek - Thanks for the input man. Yeah it won't be some crazy, over the top line.
Mikey - Yeah we tested a lot of shirts and went with the American Apparel brand because it's a higher quailty shirt and would last long. It's a little more expensive for us but having a good product makes it worth it! Thanks again!

Yeah I'm pretty sure Salt Life is a fisherman brand, those are the people I always see with it on their truck or wearing shirts or whatever.
As for t-shirts, definitely simple is better, none of that tapout douchebag stuff you see way too much of these days. Also make sure you're aware of what kind of materials you use, try and print on organic tees and use a environmentally friendly ink. The quality will be much better and showing that you care about what you use for your shirts will get more people interested in them.
Welcome to the site and have fun printing shirts, it's always cool designing stuff and then seeing the finished product.
I agree with the shirt quality......the paint quality matters too.....the old school silk screening methos was the best..... ink jet stuff is garbage.....good luck and welcome to the jungle
