    i am confused. are the track and dates backward?

    The storm is moving west. The purple track shows where the storm has been. There is no official forecast track on the Swellinfo map for Invests, but you can view the computer model forecasts by selected in the top right drop down menu:

    There's actually a low in the Caribbean below Haiti right now that is better candidate. Hasn't shown up yet in the Swellinfo maps.

    i don't remember invest category storms forming this early in the year. i'm only going on memory. Am i making an accurate assumption if i say that this is an unusually early storm for this time of year?

    I can remember plenty of years we've had Tropical Storms in June or earlier.

    2007 and 2008 we had one in May

    interesting, TWC is already ramping up the hurricane season as i type this post.

    rdj i wonder how the east coast hurricane season did for us surfers in those years. despite the fact that weather patterns are always unpredictable i still hope/wonder if this is predicting a good hurricane season for us surfers.
