What's the deal with all the agg

This year so far was pretty mellow for me, but then again, if a spot gets too crowed I usually move down or up a block or two.

Funny thing about that, it seems people love the surf in a crowd cause aleast 3 ppl paddle out RIGHT next to me after I move. Happens more then half the time.

i tend to surf spots not many people know about so i don't really mind a crowd every once in a while as long as its not too competitive and i don't have to deal with it every day. by fall/winter the crowds are mostly nonexistent so I can surf spots that are usually packed without any hassle. last time i surfed a crowded spot was during Katia at the squan, and it was ridiculous. people pushing each other off boards, cursing each other out on the wave, carnage every where. then this one dude came with a surf kayak and i almost **** my pants getting caught inside with him on a set coming right at me. those things are dangerous and need to regulated a lot more in surfing lineups

Thats how it is in CM . Everyone tires to flex and hug the rock pile even if they are not in the best postition they think cause the are closest to the rocks its there wave. Best thing you can do is hold your ground dont hesitate and flex back . If you show your not some tool usually they back off .

I had some guy I never seen before in CM try it with me today. He was droping in on everyone . I let him get away with it twice third time I wasnt polite

Story of long branch dude. Guys would rather drop way behind the peak on top of the jetty than give it up to a guy in position. It's like,'oh, if I can't make this, no one will'. It's ridiculous

Most of the time the spots I surf are crowded, so it's fairly rare that you get a session in that's solo or just one or two other guys. But you do get those days. Yesterday I surfed a very well-known spot all alone for over an hour. It was pretty junky, but had some decent size.

I don't know who had more fun, though... me or the two guys killing the bass from the beach.

One of the goons tried that on me but a few choice words and the death stare put that to bed. That was a classic example of how aggro can work. I didn't have any problems for the rest of the day after that.
