The Gruvi theory

I felt like it would be a good time to develop some Gruvi theories (for all those tired of this topic well....stop reading, this is too much fun.).

My theory is he grew up all his life near the beach and recently moved to Philly for college. He is studying creative writing and or acting. He is trying to cope with not being able to surf as much and thus has created Gruvi. He is straight but not so good with the ladies. He has great potential and I wish all the luck in the world....rock on Gruvi!

European or Eastern European, reasonably educated, middle to upper-middle-class, may have been athletic but is getting older now. looking for endeavor that offers a combination of exercise, community and Zen. Fairly serious about the learning aspect on a personal level, while clearly fully aware of the limitations and possibilities imposed by age , ability and time availability. Balancing this new endeavor with the realities of an encroaching middle-age life of a real job, marriage and the other accoutrement. enthusiastic and patient, especially with a bunch of reactionary yahoos whose cynicism cannot defeat his overall purpose...

......or just a carefully created character.

the origin stuff is the joke...sort of. the invite is real....and according to many of the obviously impressive shredders on this site, some of us will be forever kooks. might as well live it to its fullest....
