Thoughts on the film? Anyone thinking about getting it? I think it might be interesting, especially since bodysurfing is something I do almost every day when its flat

Could be an interesting video. I may have missed it but when does it come out?
Maybe it's just me, but every movie that I've seen keith malloy in or he has a part of his really good.
there is something very primal about feeling the wave pick you up, propel you forward and swirl around you with no conveyance, no floatation...just you and the water dancing delicately between losing the surge and being tossed on your head. movie looks interesting
That does look pretty sick. Bodysurfing is a lot of fun when it's flat, I'd like to pick up a pair of fins and a handplane sometime.
Marky Mark is sick.
Has anyone else gotten weird reactions from lifeguards and other surfers when you go bodysurf? It's amazing how few people do it on the east coast, or anywhere for that matter. I friggen love it, especially at chest-head high, kinda hollow, kinda closing out. You're hardly ever gonna 'make the barrel', so you just sort of enjoy the second or two of being in the tube before the spin cycle starts.![]()
this is it exactly. i really prefer body surfing in medium sized surf, stomach high & up, b/c you just get a better ride. it's super fun & a totally different feeling than we're all used to. there's so much more room in the line-up when you're body surfing as well. i took my fins out one afternoon this summer when we had a bit of swell in july b/c, after surfing mostly alone in the morning, i just didn't want to deal w/ the midafternoon crowd hassles. & i had a blast! & i didn't feel as though it were crowded at all, which of course it was...
this film looks pretty awesome...i'm stoked to see it. i've always been a ittle confused by the concept of competitive body surfing, though.
