I think that's going to be way too floaty. If you choose to go with a 5'9 or 5'10, my suggestion is to not go any wider than 20" and either go with 2 5/16 or 2 3/8 thickness. I ride a Rusty Pirhana (mainly for knee-chest but can be ridden in bigger surf), 5'10 x 19 1/2 x 2 1/4 that I got when I weighed 155-160ish lbs. I'm looking for a new one now but due to the extra poundage I gained and the added weight of a wetsuit which is pretty much year round I will up the thickness to either a 2 5/16 or 2 3/8 max.
