No offense but if you asking on how to do an air on a forum you are not good enough to even be doing airs. I'd suggest learning some nice rail to rail surfing. Solidify your bottom turn! Work on tail wafts THEN move to airs. NOTHING is more ugly than someone racing the line and doing a \"bunny hop air\"....YUCK!!!

This. Yes. Cannot be taught, only learned. The second you stop trying it will come natural, true for most things in surfing.

I've only aired twice and it was pretty sketchy man. I went up the curved part and jumped. Luckily my leash was on and the board followed. I say saddle up and ride man. LOL

Please learn the difference between throwing an air and kicking out the back of a wave. BTW "the curved part" is called the lip.
