    What's the deal? Still going to open back up as scheduled next week? Will it lead to anything?

    You mean the temporary bridge over new inlet @ Pea Island? I've read it will open Tuesday, possibly sooner.

    So the bridge opened and the guys did a hell of a quick job. The devastation in the Rodanthe, Waves and Salvo (Hatteras Village too) areas is surreal. We were blessed not to have more casualties...AMEN! Come down catch a few waves and spend some dollars. The people down south need some love. So show them some! Mahalo

    Damn those bridge guys are incredible. I'll definitely come down to Buxton or Frisco and snag some waves and spend some cash.
