I'm not thinking about suicide, but I agree there are two ways to 'go out': doing what you love or doing something else. I sure hope when my time comes - and I hope it's not soon, but you never know - I'm either in the water or in the mountains. OK, you got me thinking...

Why do people focus on how or when you go out, and what exactly you are doing when you die?

If you have a wonderful, enjoyable, meaningful life, and suffer a boring or meaningless exit does that somehow negate everything else in your life leading up to that point?
