Thread: sundayyyyyy?

All I've got is a crappy 3/2 and some booties. I am thinking that if things look nice and clean, I'm making the drive for one last paddle out before I pack it in for the winter.

I am 6'4" @260lbs and it was hard enough finding a XXXL 3/2. I've never seen a thicker wetsuit in that large a size.

If I get in and get cold, well that's better than staying home and painting the dining room Monday which is what my wife has planned for me.

O'Neil Psycho 2 and Mutant 4/3s are available in 3XL, but you'll have to order it from an authorized dealer. Typically they can have it within a week or so unless it's on backorder. You likely wont find a shop with one that size in stock, but ordering is a rather painless process. I had to order my psycho 2 6/4 in medium because I couldn't find anyone who carried it.

Thanks for the info. I was looking around on O'neill's site after I made the post and saw that I could order a 4/3 in my size.

Now there is the little nagging problem of my lousy (non-existent) surfing ability.

Its one thing to get worked in warm water, quite another to get worked in frigid water.

If you learn in a 4/3 with boots and gloves you'll surf alot better when the water is warm enough to board short it.

    Talking 3/2?

In the AM 4/3 booties and gloves for me. the best part is putting it all back on again in the afternoon.

The forcast keeps getting smaller... hopefully it'll hold at waist to chest high. Once the gloves go on I'm not really a fan of anything overhead anyway.
