Anyone watching the Reef Pro Webcast?

how awful are these waves? i think it's hysterical everyone all year was skittish about the events in NY and SF because of swell quality then they get out to the 7 mile miracle and it goes flat for a whole month.

hopefully it picks up as the week progresses, they only have today and 2 more days of event window open. surfline is saying there should be an uptick come tomorrow but it is boring/funny to watch guys milk waist high waves for a couple of off the tops.

Just tuned in, thanks! Pulled up this site before any of my local ones (because it's that good ) and didn't know it was on today.

As for the waves, yeah.... nature sucks sometimes. Today makes Brazil look like it was going off... We're about to see a TON of groveling by some of the most wave-spoiled surfers on the planet! No offense, the Hawaiians just always seem to have waves.
That's tough they only have two days left to run- while Sunset and other breaks in the area at least looked ridable yesterday.

It's going to be building, and honestly I don't think they are that bad. Just because they are small, they still look fun. A good way to test peoples equipment and skills in that smaller surf while it starts to build.

I would love to have the swell they had yesterday, they had some clean workable waist high little waves coming thru, and they are in boardshorts- could be worse! They could be in 4/3 boots and gloves riding sloppy waist high surf and not getting paid to do it!

this is the world tour. this isn't about guys "testing their equipment" and groveling or saying they're lucky. this contest SUCKED it was way worse then brazil. triple crown is over rated. just do a contest at pipe and sunset and be done with it.

Uhh, this is not the World Tour. This isn't even a WQS Prime. WQS is for grovelling grinders who some day hope to make the big time. I think this is a good test of surfing, even if it doesn't telecast well. And now that the swell has filled in, it's actually entertaining.

I think you're talking about Dave Stansfield, yeah I always dread the North Shore events because I think he commentates all 3 events. He is not exactly smooth
