Didn't you guys see that movie with Matthew Mcconaughey where he was a surfer - and they tried to make a surfing video game?! It didn't turn out very well.

Anyway, There are no games in the surf genre that I know of. It's all about tony hawk though, if you want a cool game. Plenty of hours logged on that game.

The best surfing game out is youriding.com. They just came out with a new version that allows you to switch to "tube vision" while in the barrel. There are tons of waves broken up into zones all across the world to master and plenty of achievements to keep you busy for months. Live contests, "respect", rider personalization and special moves. Check it out

KSPS for GameCube was the best IMO. It had real surfers with real breaks and not a bad soundtrack. You might be able to find it on ebay, but its not close to next-gen. Or if you're lucky maybe you could score a copy of T&C Surf Designs Wood & Water Rage for NES, haha.
