If you are worried about not being able to get back in you probably shouldn't paddle out!!!

if you dont know dont go better be safe then sorry
Im pretty sure the winds are not even going to be close to that speed.
i'm kind of on board with you--i have the day off and would like to paddle out but every time the off shore winds get up to this speed its just not fun--you try to drop and get hammered with water pellets in your face.
does anyone have any non d**k head thoughts on this?
yeah im not trying to be a 'd**k head' but... you probably should just stay home if you're are going to complain about the strong winds in the winter. Suck it up and go or don't. If it ain't worth it to you it ain't worth it.
and yeah that was a **** head thought
listen the reason i made this thread was to prove to my parents that its not that bad i have no doubt in my mind i can get out there and come back in one piece but they dont.
keep your head kind of down, kind of slit your eyes, fight through, paddle really hard and do the semi-blind drop.once you make it to the bottom it's fine.getting back in is easier, the waves go in,so take one.
