Does anyone know when this suit is gonna be available? I thought it was suppose to be released in mid 07??

I think i read that by next winter (08) they should be good to go. there were a few kinks they needed to work out still. Retail is going to be anywhere from $800-$1200. word on the street

I cant imagine wearing a 3/2 heated in the winter. must be nice ...Cant wait to chuck the 5/3!

Have you ever ONCE owned anything that ran on batteries where you didn't run down the batteries from overuse, or wished they held a charge better, or forgot to charge, or didn't hold a charge in cold weather? think cell phones, cam corders, digi cams, you name it....

I wouldn't go chucking the 5/3 too fast. Backups never a bad idea.

Good Point!! Didn't think about that. Guess i'll just have to keep the 5/3 as backup. Never wanted a Ripcurl before. Till now..Hopefully, Ripcurl will get all the kinks out before it is released.

I give Mother Nature alot of respect when it comes to cold water surfing. I spend signifacant time outside in the cold of Minnesota working and playing. I have had great times surfing in below zero air temps and 33* water. With the risks and dangers of being exposed to the extreme cold, I don't want to bank on batteries.

Ya I was read Surfing magazine a couplea months ago and read that they tested it out in antartica! I know mags sometimes strech the truth but the were diving off iceburgs into the lineup and getting slotted in head-high barrels. Meanwhile, just the thought of doing that in the wetsuit i hav now gave me brain-freeze. My guess is that this is the real deal.

Why would u nly use it 4 times?...if i had a freaking HOT wetsuit to get into i'd just about use it all year. I'd sure as hell be using it by now and right though april if its a nice flexible 3/2....

If it costs as much as multiple plane tickets to the tropics forget it....
