Oh, yay. Another sanctimonious poop bag in the water. What is it about surfing that makes some people so happy and super-stoked and other people so angry and self-righteous????

I don't get it.

For many years, I showed horses in hunters and jumpers with some of the most stuck up, wealthiest people you can imagine.

However, they were pretty polite when it came to behavior in the show ring, because no one wanted to get hurt, or hurt their $95,000 show horse, or look bad.

You'd think the average Joe on his beloved board could follow the same basic rules. Yeah we all say that there's "etiquette" - but how many people actually follow it. I find the people who spout on and on about etiquette and idiocy in surfing are usually the biggest idiots.

It really bugs the **** out of me.
