    High performance rentals in North San Diego?

    Hey! I am an intermediate to advanced surfer from the East Coast flying in for a visit to the San Diego area next week. Will be flying standby and won't be able to pack my board. Was wondering if anyone knew of a shop to rent/demo a high performance shortboard? Would appreciate any suggestions! Thanks!

    Surfride in oceanside. Mitch's in LJ. If you are willing to go down to the city, OB surf and skate will hook you up for sure.

    Just an update. Went to surfride in Oceanside. Cool group of lads. They hooked me up with a decent rental and gave me recommendations to other shops for other rentals as well. Would recommend them for sure.

    Head high fun pushy waves right out by the pier. Bowled up great.
