Thats a common misconception, Art. The north american beaver, or castor canadensis, enjoys nothing more than gobbling wood. However, unlike their furrier European counterparts, they prefer dark wood over the light balsas that flank your stick. Also, beware of older, aging beavers, for they can be quite aggresive.
