Its great to get waves...but considering a thicker suit blows. These water temps are dropping quick now. I thought we were going to make it into December with out gloves. My hands almost fell of this Saturday. Micah this swell looks like it it is going to just blow itself out in our area...what do you think? I know the spots, but it will very sectiony?
Storm path is changing often on the models - Keep checking the updates.
FYI - in case you dont know. wave maps are updated 4 times daily, forecasts twice.
As it stands now, certain spots will be blowing up like nitro (inside joke, sorry). But, looks like a lot of fetch, so this swell will likely hang around a little while.
As for water temps, the last couple swells had some strong south current. That will always drop the water temps due to upwelling. When we get onshore flow that tends to warm things up often. As for me, I'll be trunking it in South Florida - suckers! j/k, but I am stoked as it looks like its going to be real fun down there.
I got some killer shots I will send over to you soon! Really good ones! Jordan getting slotted pigdog in bethany! It was great. i have some photos of AC going totaly point break break also! Fun stuff! I have some crazy Shrine photos. And I have some Crystals shots going ape. That place is tricky for swell window though. Big then Flat-quickly. Have FUN down there, looks like it will get good enough for south beach man? Dont get burnt!
Lookin to go out Saturday for the day. Hopefully its good. Went out last week and sat morning was COLD. Had to cross ocean hywy in bare feet could wait to get into the water luckily i had gloves, it was a good swell and of coarse had to go to work at 9.
