    311 is my favorite band of all time but rock, punk rock, reggae, roots, classic rock, indie rock, you name it. However, I CANNOT STAND rap, hip-hop, dubstep, pop music. i hate it. if there are no real instruments, i ain't interested.

    Being a lead guitarist I tend to listen to blues & classic/sothern rock, Allman brothers, SRV, Eric Clapton, Jimi Hendrix, Led zeppelin, Peter Frampton, just to name a few...

    I used to be a hardcore punk purist... Late 70's early 80's. Was in several bands...we had more name changes than paying gigs! Calmed down a bit as I aged... as far as SURFING music goes, it's hard to beat the Vaccines or Super Chunk. Stayabovetheweather's play list has a lot of overlap with mine but my go to Pandora Stations are The Cramps and The Shins.
