Usually you see it called a convertible setup.

In all seriousness, the board is designed to be ridden either as a quad or a tri. If you're Slater, you ride all five with the back center as a bump trailer. But only if you get to a final where you want to boost gigantic no-grab full rotation airs and lose to power-gouging man turns: see Long Beach 2011 and Bells 2012....
