I have a tailpad on my board that is old has no grip and my foot is sliding off. But the adhesive is still good and the pad still sticks on the board. What is the best way to remove it?

hairdryer will heat the glue up and take it off in seconds. just dont heat too much to damage board and slowly peel or scrape it off with wax comb. i used paint scraper. but the hairdryer is key
but how do i get the tailpad off, should i rip the thing off?
Hes saying when you heat the glue it will loosen and basically come right up. Dont go too crazy, er on the safe side. The paint scrapper will help you kind of pry it off your board but again, be careful. Keep googling too I bet theres a lot of different ways to do it.
hot- boiling - water is better then hair dryer- less chance of ruining your fiberglass.... use a heavy plastic (not metal) paint scraper - rip it off and goo gone it for a while... don't use any solvents unless you want to ruin it
