    Question How much zoom for a camcorder?

    I'm thinking of getting the Sony CX260V, which has 30x optical zoom. That should be good for filming from the beach, right?

    hey man! 30x optical will be plenty! just make sure its optical not digital

    Thanks yeah it's optical, not digital. All the other camcorders I found had 10x optical, but this one has 30x.
