really? that is considered a death threat? is all sanity lost? you will let a thread about "south side" go on for 7 (yes, 7!!!) pages go on, but my post constititutes a death threat? if you want controversy, how about all bodyboarders surf south side... ONLY! believe me, no one will else will complain... y'all can have it. and micah, you didnt seem to have a problem i.d.'ing dog beach to your "customers" in so.fla (the spot behind nomad, if you dint know the name. believe me, folks in pbc want to see dade/broward surfers like u want to see the greater dc/b'mer/philthy folks at the secret spot formerly known as south side!), so get off the high horse.and then you can write msg's to each other about who over-exposed the spot first. that'd be real cool. did anyone surf today? anyone? jimbo?

i would have never had guessed the spot behind nomad surf shop was secret... The only reason i know about the spot is because i went to the shop to rent a board while i was visiting relatives down there, and the guys at the shop told me it was fun behind the shop. its the only place i've ever surfed in delray. Usually spots right behind a surf shop are pretty well known.

i was just being controversial for the sake of it. this thread has gone on too long, and of course now i am partly responsible! dog beach is not a secret spot, and neither is south side. in fact they are both located in public parks (county and state, respectively), so the idea that they could be secret or protected is pretty silly. lineups take care of themselves(except for nsiri) and we all know that no one is going to paddle out at dumps and shred w/o taking a few lumps. the point was that one person's travel destination is always going to be someone else's backyard. if we all keep that in mind i think the surfing experience will be better for it. i didnt mean to come off as a ****, and jimbo i wish you the best. i have no desire to kill you, or anyone else. get out there and "discover" some new breaks. oh, and i did surf yesterday, i wont say where , but it was fun, and only me and a friend and one other guy out as far as we could see, little barrels up and down the beach, in the middle of delmarva... life is good.
