    Commutes

My commute in ct is about 2 hours and im lucky to get out more then once a week there. Luckily, I worked my life around the waves and became a waveslave in north carolina in order to surf everyday (i suggest you do the same, wife, kids, job, school all not a big deal if your a true surfer)

Unluckily, wrightsville beach north carolina has real waves once a century so despite my 5 minute commute from the beach and being in the water everyday I'm still surrounded by tourists in boardshorts clogging the lineup (on or off their foamboards)

Im shooting for becoming homeless once i get my degree and finding a nice third-world nation where i can make a cabin on the beach somewhere so my commute will be nonexistent. 5 mins is still too far.

Just disappear to Tahiti and build yourself a little shack in a hidden cove where you wake up to 2x overhead every morning, also make your boards out of trees and driftwood.

10-15 minutes & I try to get on it most mornings if there's wave & some evenings especially this time of year when the days are longer. Probobly average 2-3 sessions in a good week

My commute is 65 miles from home to work....but only 6 blocks from home to the beach. I do 2 to 10 sessions a week*.

*In FLA at the mercy of the waves.

3hrs and 15 minutes. It would be an hour shorter if Delaware had somewhere to surf other than the Naval jetty....too bad they ruined Indian River. Starting in June, I'll average 2-3 sessions weekly; July will be almost daily between Cali and the east coast. Aug--Nov will be biweekly. I manage to go to a lake 5 minutes from my home to paddle for an hour several times weekly.
