Complete 10' Weber Performer restoration
saw this on facebook, great job!
Nice work! How'd you do it? My Father in law has a weber performer that is very similar to this one that needs about the same amount of work. No delam but plenty of areas that need attention.

The board was completly stripped of the fiberglass, replaced balsa stringer in the finbox area, clean the blank up without changing the shape, make it white again, got new lams from Dewey's son, fiberglass, hotcoat, added blue gloss resin pin lines around the board as per what the customer wanted, gloss coat and polish

This is unbelievable - you did a great job! Wilmington's craiglist.org has a Dewey Weber just like this. Tempting, but I would not be able to restore it like this board. Kudos.

My wife just said, every time Dewey ever came by her Dad's place, he'd greet her with:
"Gimme 5, up high, down low, in the middle, cut the pickle, tickle, tickle." and do the whole hand slap thing. She also says that's a beautiful board.
