So, i finally got a chance to get out over the weekend...thank god, 'cause I was going apesh%t! Problem is, there was so much traffic and congestion from all the lovely vacationers that i had to park really far away and walk to the beach. Unfortunately, I didn't think about the consequences of walking on steaming hot pavement and by the time i paddled out i could feel the huge blisters forming on my feet. The walk back after surfing was incredibly painful. My question is....has anyone else done this b4?(i have had this happen before, but not quite to this extent) & if so, how did you treat the blisters? Did you pop them and drain them or let them pop naturally by themselves. Really amped to get on this swell at the end of the week, and trying to figure out the fastest way to heal. Any help would be greatly appreciated. -JJ

Sometimes its worth it to burn em for some nice times though
I just popped mine and let the skin dry out then take my time picking bits off day by day and letting the new skin time to toughen up. Now I try to remember to bring my socks made from wetsuit material, jus stuff them in my side pocket when I get out.
