look out for this scam

So I am trying to sell my Dane Reynolds Dumpster diver on craigslist and this is what I got from a "buyer":

Good,as a conclusion between I and my fiancee so I will buy from
you because I have contacted some other sellers.But here the issue is
we are very busy at this point preparing for our wedding.With due
respect my mode of payment is by Certified check,$50 extra will be
included for your run around expenses while cashing the check.If we
have a agreement,then the following details is needed for mailing
payment to you .........

Physical address for mailing with apartment number(No POBox pls):
City / state :
Zip Code:
phone # to keep you updated.:

Info is required so I mail you the payment asap via USPS(delivery
in 4 days) and pick up will be done by a shipper at my cost after
check is cashed.Hope you reply soon so we proceed on deal.My details
is as follows...............

It's actually not just one person. This is a common scam. I had something on craigslist and got two similar responces.

Yea get used to it using craigslist, I get a email like that everyday. Its super annoying right, half the people email me about my items then I respond and they never email back, between sorting thru these scams and people who don't email me back ever I hate CL. The check will be fake, you will be the one to get into trouble first. I usually send back a email with a very disturbing picture of my feces =D

Even replying to a scammer's email, even if it is with a disturbing picture, is a bad idea because the scammer then has your email address, and can/will use it in future scams. It's best to just delete the email.

also avoid opening any links they send you. it's a good chance there's a virus/keylogger in there
