Thanks for all the advice guys! I don't think I'm gonna buy it. I'm too worried it will be too big now. But if you don't mind answering a few more questions I'd appreciate it . Does a 650$ board normally turn into 750$ after tax?? And if I go all out and pay 650$ for a CI board, what should I expect as a courtesy from the shop?? Free traction pad, or free finsss?? Or is that too much to expect??

if your in jersey/local area and want a local shaper i'd go with arc.. - http://www.arcsurfboards.com/

Shop wont hook you up with a pad, it might come with fins. If you went with a local like arc, you'd be so much better off then spending 650 on a generic channel islands

shop here gives you a free pad ,,, final $$$ will depend on tax % and any discounts you may get ... go local or tom neilson down in cocoa beach will make you his "flyin' floaty fish" for around 500...looks kinda pod-like to me .

cool dude... Well, I've got some fireworks in the garage at home.. So i figure I'll go home and strap a rocket to my ass, light the fuse, and (pending air-traffic) I'll be in Cocoa Beach by morning... Thanks for the tip

Hey , whatever you like to strap to your ass is your trip . People do ship boards and take road trips ,just sayin' . Proctologist bill aside , you'd still come out ahead with what CI charges.
