    Board dims

How many years has it taken to get the exact dimensions dialed in for your perfect go to board. And if so what are they.

My opinion is that this perfect board dimensions is a moving target.... with most of the consistent dimensions happening for someone between 18 and 25... but as you get a bit older I think the dimensions you need will to be addressed as you put more weight on... maybe have endurance drop a bit....
I surf a thicker and taller board today then I did when I was in my teens to my early to late 20s.

Exactly..........Your go to board is gonna change as you age........if it doesnt you just dont understand the progression of time and the effects it will have on your body. Not to mention you'll be catching fewer waves and wont know why. Having said that there are a chosen few who take perfect care of themselves who can still ride whatever they want.
