I'm new at interpreting the surf forecast, but looks like thurs-sat are going to be some decent waves. Does the fact that its choppy make that much of a difference?

Depends on the direction and the wind speed. I would say most likely it's going to be blown out unless the wind shifts north or south a bit, and lightens up.

with the ne winds it will be blown out and not rideable. size doesn't always mean it will be good!
So what kind of winds do we want?

Hoping it's big and choppy enough to make it memorable! Not holding my breath though. Far out predictions rarely seem to be accurate (last week)...
