    Hand planes

    Hey, I was looking for a hand plane for when the waves are small or just bad... anyone know where I can get one at a good price? Or have any input on what type?

    You can make one out of an old skateboard deck pretty easily...

    There are some SWEET handplanes at Greenlight in Manasquan, if you're in the area.

    just made one. i used cedar (soft wood easy to sand) plenty of info on line and easy to make. Ill try to post some pics.
