    Somewhat underforecasted

    Went surfing this morning at Long Beach, expecting to see 3 ft. waves. To be fair, most sets were probably only slightly above that . . . but it seemed to me there were some frequent larger sets. My best rides of the day were head to 1-ft-OH.

    Dunno just seemed underforecasted to me. I was stoked.

    There was quite some lateral drift though, but I just let it take me 2-3 jetties down, surfing along the way, then took one in and walked back to the starting spot, rinsed and repeated.

    Anybody else that was out there today?

    Yeah I was out for like 4 hours thins morning in LBI. It was pretty big and if ya caught wm right, they opened up pretty nicely. Even got a barrel.

    No, not really. I was at Lincoln and There were North-ish winds for most of the morning. Turned East-ish later but it worked out to give clean crisp waves.

    Wait, are you guys confusing Long Beach, NY with Long Beach Island, NJ?

    I ****in miss demos and that damn walk! Went out here in Monmouth county NJ, deffinately heavier than just 3ft. Winds were nuking though and waves were running way fast.
