Later this week I'm going to visit my folks in Ma. they live near some nice spots. The bummer is that it looks like it's going to to be a choppy mess there (not uncommon there but there is usually at least one or two good days)but some good small but clean swell here in delmarva. . . what a fry! hopefully it will end up better then forcasted.
Yes, when I was stranded in Austin working for a startup, there was nothing worse than driving to the Gulf and staring out at a calm, placid, oil-rig studded lake. In such circumstances there is only one option, that great combination of activities, fishin n' drinkin. Or just fishin' if u'r on the O'douls diet.
'course, chop's as bad for catchin fish as for hookin waves, but at least you'll be on the water.

yes all the time... but you never know you might just come across that hidden point break in MA that is situated just right to block the wind... head hi and no one out...you never know....
you must be going to mv/nantucket? I'm going to visit my mom in wellfleet and it looks pretty good through the weekend. take a daytrip to the lower cape.
I'll second cresto4. The outer (lower) cape is looking good through the weekend. It's been good the last couple of morning dawn patrols even though the wave height does not look impressive in the forecast. It's nothing but green & a little blue through Monday.
